Mark G. Meadows
Mark is much more than a Jazz musician. He’s a music director, educator, advocate, and the list continues to grow. Soon after George Floyd was murdered, he put together an award-winning short documentary film describing his experiences and response to the Black Lives Matters movement. Directed by Michael Ivan, the 23-minute documentary uses music and interviews to share a message that comes from the heart and provokes viewers to action. Follow Mark G. Meadows’ career as he grows his influence and creativity. The trailer for But Don’t Believe Them is shown below. If you’re interested in seeing the full film, reach out to Michael Ivan.
“Working with Michael Ivan Schwartz is always the most natural, organic, creative process possible. He gets it done and will make it better than you could’ve imagined. We’ve done music videos together, documentaries, photo sessions, live performance video shoots, and it never feels like work with Michael; that’s why I love working with him.“
